the New and Improved TLA Blog!

As the title says, welcome to the new and improved TLA blog! “But Jeff”, you say, “you guys have had a blog for a while. What’s new about this? Why is it new and improved?”. Well, I’m so glad you asked! The reason is that we are now treating this thing as a real blog, maintaining, and updating on a regular basis, discussing a multitude of interesting things (mostly, but not always, music related), AND we are allowing people to post whatever they want to! Of course due to sp@m our site admin will be approving posts as they come in before they go up, but nevertheless it’s the start of a beautiful new thing!
News will be updated as per usual, but we will be adding more stuff than just news as we go (like this). So check back weekly and you should see a pile of new stuff!

Official Fan Club items released

As of Friday Dec 3, 2010 a WHOLE BUNCH of stuff was released exclusively to the Fan Club. This included a recently released redone cover of Black Sabbath’s “Children of the Grave”, including the video of TLA playing it live! This was made available to the Fan Club for free first, then the Facebook Fan page later on…but the Facebook fans didn’t get the video…
You gotta be part of the Official TLA Fan Club to get this stuff! Fortunately it’s easy. Just go here and read the instructions!
There is a lot more Official Fan Club exclusive stuff coming out (A good example would be the Official TLA Christmas Card!), so you might wanna get on that if you don’t wanna miss any of it!
Olds Gig Saturday

Once again TLA is playing @ Track’s Pub in Olds, Alberta. This event was specifically scheduled due to Tracks having a complete Pro Tools rig and TLA needs to record a live performance with video and audio for some big-time promoters who have requested it.
We thought this “big-time promoter” thing was a bit odd, but then we had an offhand explanation provided to us. After we did some checking, this actually looks pretty amazing! We’ll have more information for on this as we find out more!
And believe me, we want to find out MORE! Right now it’s pretty “hush-hush”…but we have our ways…
